George W. Rue captured John Hunt Morgannear West Point, Ohio after the Battle of Salineville on July 26, 1863 during the American Civil War. This photo from about 1910 was included with a 1911 account of his address at the 47th anniversary commemoration on September 10, 1910. He was 83 years old at the time.
